I had an amazing time at the NY MetroSleep Center. They made the entire process stress-free and provided clear explanations of everything. They are the greatest option for sleep care because of their exceptional knowledge and empathy.
How do I begin? My son had a sleep study appointment here last night, and I must tell that this place was simply fantastic! My kid and I were made to feel quite comfortable by the staff’s kindness and friendliness. To help my four-year-old son relax when he saw the equipment and connections that would soon be connected, he even played with him. I had a great time here!
I am very impressed with the quality of service this company provides They are professional reliable and deliver excellent results I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy service.
Yes. Our specialists will review your symptoms and medical history to determine whether an in-lab sleep study or a home sleep test is best for you. You don’t need to decide before contacting us—just reach out and we’ll guide you.
Common signs of sleep apnea include loud, frequent snoring; pauses in breathing, choking or gasping during sleep that someone else notices; waking with a dry mouth or morning headache; and feeling tired during the day even after a full night in bed. Symptoms alone can’t confirm sleep apnea—only a sleep study can diagnose it. If these sound familiar, contact us and our team will help you decide whether testing makes sense.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Medicare. Sleep studies and treatment are generally covered when medically necessary, but coverage, prior authorization and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan. Our team can help verify your coverage, and you can give your insurer our NPI numbers (100-390-6801 and 189-100-8215) to confirm we’re in network.
We offer both. An in-lab sleep study (polysomnography) takes place overnight in a private room at our Bronx center, where a technologist monitors your breathing, oxygen level, heart rhythm, brain activity and movement while you sleep. In-lab studies run seven nights a week, and patients arrive around 7:00 PM. A home sleep test uses a small device you wear in your own bed and mainly measures breathing and oxygen to check for obstructive sleep apnea. Our specialists review your symptoms and medical history to recommend the right test for you.
Appointments are booked by our staff. Fill out the request form on our Contact page or call 718-684-6393, and our team will contact you to schedule your visit. You don’t need a doctor’s referral to be seen at NY Metro Sleep Center, although some insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization for certain services—our team will let you know if yours does. Physicians can refer patients through our Refer a Patient page.
